Wow, what a trip! What an adventure! We cannot say enough good things about Expat Holidays, Lenny and his team. From the very start of our travels, Vanda was on hand, catering to our every need and staying one step ahead of us. We were greeted at airports, bustled through customs and baggage, driven by expert drivers to our beautiful accommodations and then met each day by knowledgeable and fun tour guides (Joe, P, Sugar, Piak, Pat, Patrick – all great) taking us to the top tourist spots as well as the little known, hidden gems that most non-locals would not know about. With Expat Holidays on the ground, we were able to enjoy our days, immersing ourselves in the culture, history, food, nature and beautiful sites of Thailand, Siem Reap (Angkor Wat), Chiang Mai and finally Phuket. We loved experiencing all the must-sees and at the same time, having local guides at each destination that could take us to more remote, lesser-known destinations, and fill us in on the local flavor, customs, current and recent history of the people, including government, religion, economic situation, traditions and even some of their family backgrounds. Very warm and personal, yet professional at the same time. Not to be missed were the various food tours and tastings in Bangkok, at the floating market south of Bangkok, and in Siem Reap. And learning about the local hill tribes and Lanna cultures (including cooking class), going to the highest point in Thailand, bathing the elephants, and kayaking around the caves in Phra Nang Bay. Did we mention the spectacular Wats everywhere? Wish we were still there, just anticipating our next day’s adventures, with Expat Holidays managing every detail in the background. MUST DO ACTIVITY!!!!!!!!!!! – Lenny and the team at Expat Holidays planned us a literal dream come true vacation. We chose to use them for our honeymoon and we cannot recommend them enough! From the start, Lenny was incredibly attentive and made planning this trip so easy and fun. He was always there to answer or discuss any questions or requests we had and went back and forth with us in a very timely manner to help create the trip we envisioned. We went on this tour while in Bangkok and were lucky enough to have Tong as our tour guide. We absolutely loved our time with Tong! He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and made the day with him so much fun! He was very patient with us and helped us take lots of pictures. He talked with us about the culture in Thailand and answered our many questions and he truly made the day such a blast. We can not recommend Expat Holidays, this tour, and Tong enough!!! Wonderful, Well Planned Vacation – I worked with Lenny at Expat Holidays Thailand for about a year before traveling to Thailand. Four adults and three kids < 10years (5, 8 & 8) traveled to Bangkok, Cheow Lan Lake, Koh Samui and Krabi over 2.5 weeks. Lenny was extremely easy to work with, very communicative and planned a magical experience for kids and adults. Lenny & team arranged all the transportation inside the country (from internal flights to ferries to multi-passenger cars) as well as all the tour guides and activities. He uses an app to organize all the information into one place and the team updates you with texts though-out the trip to help keep things on schedule. Those details made a world of difference in our enjoyment of the holiday, reduced our stress and allowed us to see several areas. The team Lenny works with is top notch. The other family we traveled with had their luggage lost/delayed upon arrival to Thailand. Vanda at Expat worked closely with the airline and went to the airport at 1am to try and sort things out which helped us get the luggage a couple days later. Her dedication was phenomenal as was her communication during the whole holiday. Ma Lee was our Bangkok tour guide and was amazing with our children. So amazing that they talked about her the entire trip asking if she could join us in every location. Lenny arranged excellent tours throughout the trip including our food tour in Bangkok. His knowledge of reliable and knowledgable guides took a lot of work out of the planning process for us and made things easy. Highlights of the trip were the elephant experiences, Rayvadee resort in Krabi, the Jungle House resort and Panvaree resort. All recommended by Lenny and the team. This was the trip of a lifetime and we would do it again with Expat.

The Perfect Honeymoon – We can’t say enough great things about our Thailand trip planned by Expat Holiday, Lenny & the rest of the team. From the start we worked with Lenny to plan our honeymoon. He was very professional & helpful when planning our vacation. He helped make adjustments to the itinerary as many times as we needed, to make sure we were satisfied with our trip & staying within our budget. We started our trip in Bangkok, then Krabi & ended in Phuket. The itinerary was setup perfectly. For example, Bangkok started with a city tour/transportation tour so we were able to learn the city & learn how to get around. Then we were comfortable using public transport the rest of our time there. Our tour guide Luck was amazing, she really made our day fun & was so sweet. She took plenty of pictures of us too! We also did a good tour in Bangkok & had the best experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. Our time in the islands was very relaxing. We went to an elephant sanctuary and a boat tour to Phi Phi. Both of those experiences were unforgettable. We really enjoyed both tours & the people who led them. Our Phi Phi island tour even made a special announcement about our honeymoon & ended the day with a sangria toast for us. They definitely made as feel special. The best part about working with Expat is not having to worry about anything. Vandra was our point of contact during the trip & she checked in with us, sent us suggestions, communicated very promptly if I needed to get ahold of her. She even checked us in for flights & had the hotel deliver our tickets to our room. All of our transportation was booked by Exapt too, we were very impressed with all of our transfers. Everyone was prompt & nice comfortable cars/vans. It was so nice not to have to think of those little details. Lenny also had great suggestions on food/entertainment & other tips/tricks for our location we were in. Can’t thank them enough for planning our perfect honeymoon.

Best Travel Experience I Have Ever Had – This review really won’t do Lenny and the team justice, because there are no words that could explain the amount of ease, fun, relaxation and peace of mind this trip afforded. Me and my best friend took a 10 trip completely customized by the team which really afforded us an incredible, unforgettable experience. ALLL the tour guides were absolutely AMAZING! Super excited to teach us, take pictures and really create a memorable experience. I am not a good swimmer but in the Phi Phi Island, one of the tour guides held my hand as we snorkeled to make sure I was able to enjoy it. The food tour in Bangkok was amazing and were able to try whatever we wanted! This also included us going to ChinaTown and the flower market. I have NO words about the accommodations — Breathtaking! The villa in Krabi and the resort in Phuket were some of the nicest places I have ever been – and I travel alot. The trip was just so easy and planned so perfect. They knew when our flight was delayed and we never had to wait for transportation or anything. The private car on the ride from Krabi to Phuket was so comfortable and accommodating you didnt even feel like you were on a 3 hour ride. Lenny will be planning any Asia trip I take from here on out. Amazing Southeast Asia Trip – Our 24 day Southest Asia trip was fantastic. Lenny and his Expat Holidays Thailand team planned our trip and it went off like clockwork. As two couples traveling together, we were looking for flexibility with unique experiences and Lenny and his team did not disappoint. We visited multiple cities in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand by land, air and water. The coordination of our travel was perfect. We were met “on time” by our many guides and drivers. They were always respectful, knowledgeable and flexible even when we made a slight change to our itinerary. Every hotel Lenny selected was not only perfect but were well located and each provided a bountiful and delicious breakfast. Our many experiences included food tours by vespas, tuk-tuk’s and cyclo’s, walking tours, visits to temples, local farms, an elephant sanctuary, unique cooking experiences with local families and boat rides all over SE Asia. We couldn’t have had a more perfect trip and the best part was Lenny built our itinerary specifically for us. An Excellent Guide For A Personalised Tour – Having Ms Luck as our personal guide to visit our selected sights made it a very special and memorable day. We learned so much about the places form the very knowledgeable Ms Luck, and thoroughly enjoyed her friendly company during the day. She was also great in helping us choose the best spots for photos, and chose an excellent restaurant for our lunch together.
